November is a special time at our church where we seek to count our blessings not our burdens! Throughout the month, we want to practice intentional gratitude and eliminate complaining in hopes of making gratitude a part of our daily lives. Take some time to take inventory of everything you have to be thankful for. Make a list and express it over the next few weeks as we together go on a journey of praise and thanksgiving. Make our blessings move us to be THANKful to our God and GIVING to others!

Learning to Give Thanks in Every Situation is an important life lesson! Learning to monitor my joy is a mark of Christian maturity. Paul demonstrates this joy in Acts 16 when he and Silas are in a Philippian jail. Instead of complaining, they choose praise! Paul understands that either our Chains can break our Praise or our Praise can break our Chains! Make the decision to give thanks today regardless of where you are!
