For more than a decade, Pastor Andre Jamar Osborne has faithfully led First Tabernacle Missionary Baptist Church with vision, conviction, and a steady commitment to making disciples who make a difference. Called to serve in 2014 at the age of 26, he has guided this historic Savannah congregation, established in 1898, through years of renewal and growth, leading it to more than 1,200 members.

He was licensed to the preaching ministry in 1998, at age 11, and ordained by the Reverend Dr. Lexcie E. Aiken at the St. Luke Baptist Church, and has been blessed, since that time, to share in the joy of the gospel ministry. He holds a Bachelor of Arts in Communications and a Master of Divinity, and is completing a Doctor of Ministerial Leadership.

Pastor Osborne is a teacher by calling and a builder by nature. He led the congregation through a complete renovation and technical upgrade of its downtown campus, the most comprehensive in the church’s last 50 years. In all of it, he has sought to honor the legacy entrusted to him while preparing the church for the generations still to come.

Pastor Osborne serves as President of Alice Street Inc., the church’s nonprofit, which carries First Tabernacle’s mission into the surrounding community. In denominational life, he serves as Moderator of the Berean Missionary Baptist Association and Regional Vice President of the General Missionary Baptist Convention of Georgia. A committed civic leader, he works to build partnerships that strengthen families, neighborhoods, and the broader Savannah community.

Pastor Andre celebrates his family as his greatest blessing and crowning achievement! He is married to the lovely Colanna Osborne, and they are the proud parents of five beautiful children: Israel Zachery, Heiress Jael, Alena Marie, who is with our Lord, Joi Brielle, and Shiloh Gracelynn.
