A Weekend to Remember: September Refresh Revival & Sunday Worship

Weekend Update from Pastor Andre

This September, God met us in a powerful way at First Tabernacle’s Refresh Revival and during our Sunday worship gatherings. Both 9AM and 11AM services were filled with energy, faith, and an overwhelming sense of God’s presence.

One of the most amazing highlights was seeing 39 people make decisions to follow Jesus and connect with our church family. We rejoice that God is still adding to the body of Christ and allowing us to witness lives being changed right before our eyes.

Our church was especially encouraged by the incredible turnout of young people who filled the sanctuary, reminding us that the next generation is on fire for God and ready to carry the torch of faith forward.

We also celebrated a historic and inspiring moment with a pinning ceremony for Deacon McArthur Holmes, who has now been designated as the first Black Undersheriff for Chatham County. This milestone was a reminder of how faith and community walk hand in hand, and we are covering Sheriff Richard Coleman and his staff in prayer as they serve to keep our county safe.

This season of revival has been refreshing for our souls and renewing for our mission as a church. God is doing something special at First Tabernacle, and we are excited for what lies ahead.
